We have collected a bunch of frequently asked questions here so that its easier for you to find what you need quickly.
About Us:Magnamusic, a family owned and operated business, has been around since the 1940s. We hold one of the largest collections of early (Renaissance and Baroque) sheet music and instruments in the United States and Canada. We always do our best to offer our prompt, friendly and personalized service.
Ordering: You can order by telephone, fax, mail, email or online using your Visa or MasterCard. For mail orders, you can send your credit card number, a personal check or a money order. Please do not send cash.
Prices: Prices are subject to change at any time.
Credit Cards: We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
Shipping & Handling: We ship by First Class, Priority Mail and UPS depending on the weight and value of your order.
International Shipping: We will advise you after your order has been received as to what the most economical and expedient method of shipping will be. You will be advised at that time of the cost. Customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. Your order will not ship until you reply to us with approval.
Delivery Time:Orders received by 12:00pm EST are usually processed the same day.
Damaged Shipments: Please contact us immediately if any merchandise arrives damaged. You will need to retain the damaged item as well as the box and packing material. The shipping company may want to pick those items up from you.
Returns: All sales are final.
Privacy: We do not give out any customer contact information.
Store Hours: Our hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, EST. Tuesday and Thursday we are open from 9AM to 1PM.
Warranties: Aura, Dolmetsch Academy, Moeck and Mollenhauer recorders purchased from Magna Direct or Magnamusic Distributors have a 2 year warranty. The Coolsma has a 2 year warranty as well, with the exception of the Solo series, which has a warranty of 4 years. Zen-On recorders do not have a written warranty but we stand behind our products and any instrument with manufacturing defects or voicing inconsistency will be repaired or replaced within six months of purchase. Shipping on any work needed to be done on recorders under warranty is the responsibility of the customer.
